Overview

The Maennerchor Club is located in the shadow of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Capitol Building and within walking distance of Harrisburg's famed "Restaurant Row", City Island, and Riverside Park. The club has entrances on both Church Street and North Street. The Church Street entrance is reserved for members and their guests. The North Street entrance is reserved for special events in the "Cathedral Room" and the Billiards Parlor.

From I-81 and other points north of downtown Harrisburg:

From Front Street the club can be found by turning left onto North Street just past the YMCA building. Travel one block crossing 2nd Street to the corner of North and Church. A small glowing neon sign advertises the Maennerchor's North Street entrance.


From I-83's 2nd Street exit:

From I83, take Harrisburg's 2nd Street exit. 2nd Street is a one-way street traveling north. Travel approximately 13 blocks, staying in the right hand lane. Turn right onto North Street, you will see the glowing neon sign on the corner of Church and North Streets.


From Cameron Street:

From Cameron Street and the Farm Show Complex area (north of the city), turn onto Herr Street and proceed to the first stop light, turning left onto 7th Street. Merge right onto Forster Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and then right onto North Street.


From Camp Hill and 11/15:

Cross the M. Harvey Taylor Memorial Bridge to enter the city. Proceed on Forster Street until Green Street. Turn right onto Green Street. Green Street ends at North Street. The Maennerchor will be on your right.


Parking:

The club does not have parking available. There is metered parking on all streets surrounding the club. There is also plenty of parking on State Street (approximately 1 block south of the club). State Street parking offers the best view of Pennsylvania's capitol as well as two beautiful local churches. The board members are working with local lot owners to find parking for members and other club patrons.
